Since 1882, Monistrol has been producing wines and cavas at its estate in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, in the heart of the Penedès. A long-standing tradition shaped by a deep knowledge of the land, a rich winemaking heritage and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Building on this experience, Monistrol Wines are born: a new range of organic wines that extends the essence of the winery beyond cava. Wines crafted with the same care and exacting standards that have defined Monistrol since its origins, offering an authentic and contemporary expression of our approach to wine.
Elaboration
From vineyards in the municipalities of Sant Sadurni d’Anoia, Gelida and Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, in the north of the Alt Penedès region, near Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea.
Wineland, organically farmed on the estates of 50 winegrowers. Handharvested in August and September. Cold maceration and fermentation in small tanks at a temperature of 15°C.

Tasting
Straw-yellow in colour with peachy hues.
Fresh, clean aromas of white flowers, fruit (apple) and tropical fruit (pineapple).
On the palate, it is fresh, creamy and full-bodied, with notes of white fruit, grapefruit and citrus. A full-bodied, long finish.
Pairing
The perfect accompaniment to all kinds of appetisers, rice dishes, pasta, cold meats, mild cheeses, fish, seafood and Japanese cuisine.
